Privacy
The short version: I ask for one thing, your email address, and only if you want the First Meeting Kit. I don't sell it, I don't share it, and you can have it deleted by asking.
What I collect
Nothing at all unless you ask for the kit. There's no tracking on this site. No analytics, no advertising pixels, nothing following you from page to page. You can read every word here and leave no record behind.
If you do request the First Meeting Kit, the form sends me four things:
- Your email address, because you typed it in.
- Which language version of the site you were reading, so I send you the right kit.
- Your country, which Cloudflare works out from your connection. The country only, not your town and not your street.
- The date you signed up.
That's the whole list. No name, no phone number, no address, no age.
What I do with it
I send you the kit. After that I send an email once or twice a month at most, when I have something genuinely useful for a man running a group. That's the entire purpose of the list.
I don't sell it, rent it, trade it, or hand it to anyone else. No advertising is run against it.
Your address is only stored if you check the consent box on the form. Leave it unchecked and nothing is saved.
Who else touches it
Three companies, all doing ordinary plumbing:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores the email list.
- Resend delivers the emails.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces these pages use, which means Google sees the address your browser connects from, the same as on most sites on the internet.
None of them get the list for their own purposes.
Cookies
For a normal visitor, none. The only cookie this site sets is on the password-protected admin page, and that page is for me, not for you.
Getting off the list
Reply to any email you've had from me and say the word, or write to hello@annettethompson.com. I'll take you off. If you'd rather I delete the record entirely instead of just stopping the emails, say that and I'll do that instead. You don't have to give a reason.
Children
This site is written for grown men. It isn't intended for anyone under 18, and I don't knowingly keep an email address belonging to a child.
If this changes
If I start collecting something new, this page gets updated before I do it, and the date below changes. I don't expect that to happen. The current arrangement suits me fine.
